OLIVETI CLINIC PROJECT

The Oliveti Village Clinic project was coordinated by Lindsay Galo. This is how he works with his group, carrying petrol and oil to where the volunteers cut the timbers.
This group of volunteers from other villages in Choiseul went to Oliveti village to cut the timbers for the clinic. It took the volunteers on this trip 7 to 8 hour to reach Olivet village, crossing Vachu river in the middle of the bush. They first cut timbers for Oliveti clinic in the 2nd to 4th week of July 2012.
As soon as the group reached Oliveti village they started their operation of cutting the timbers. They were very hard working men who did volunteer work. When they did the work on that 3 weeks, they felt how God care for them to be strong to help the people of Oliveti village.
These are some of the photos of the volunteer group Lindsay took to Oliveti village. This is how they worked with chainsaw to cut the large trees (logs) to timbers.
